For those going for the swimming course,please bring $20.50 to yishun swimming complex.

($20=course fee,50 cents=entry fee)

Please be there by 3.30pm and there will not be any transport from school.

ONLY 1-piece swimming suits are allowed(for girls)

Guys can wear 1-piece swimming suits if they want to keep themselves from unnecessary stares(if there is any)

Please take note that this is your LAST training before the ORD.

This Tuesday and Wednesday will be the annual Sea Comp

Report in wet Pt kit( white shirt,black aeroplane shorts) in school at 0715 hours

bring 1)extra pt kit( white shirt,black aeroplane shorts) for changing after kayaking

2)ur kayaking stuff(eg,booties,plastic bag,towel,soap,face cleanser,shampoo,make up etc..)

3) consent form( applicable to Alpha)

Note: anyone who misbehaves or disobey orders or wears home clothes during Sea Comp will be dealt with severely...

HILLARY CHALLENGE (SINGAPORE) 2007

The Uniformed Groups Section of CCA Branch is organising the inaugural Hillary Challenge ( Singapore) 2007 as part of the Singapore Youth Festival this year. The event will take place from Friday, 13 July 2007 to Sunday, 15 July 2007. The Challenge is open to all Secondary Three to Five Uniformed Groups members in all full schools, secondary schools, Hwa Chong Institution, NUS High School of Mathematics and Science, National Junior College, Victoria Junior College, Temasek Junior College, foreign system schools and privately-funded schools.

The Hillary Challenge ( Singapore) is the Asian chapter of the Genesis Hillary Challenge of New Zealand, which is a renowned and highly competitive challenge for New Zealand’s high schools. Only the top ten teams make it to the finals each year.

The Hillary Challenge ( Singapore) will test teams in terms of leadership, teamwork, fitness, knowledge, skills, perseverance, initiative and ability to solve problems. It will certainly aid in leadership and character development.

The winning team will represent Singapore to compete against the best New Zealand teams in the Genesis Hillary Challenge which will be held in late May 2008 in Tongariro, New Zealand. It is a five-day challenge and the trip will be fully sponsored.
